A Bitter Sweet Blog Hop

Good Afternoon.... It's a bitter sweet day today.
The Digi Bells are having a Blog Hop, and it will be our last for a little while.
BUT.... We WILL be back..
A much needed rest is in order.

It's time for Lissybee and The Digi Bells to Recharge our Mojo.

So today for Elisabeth Bell's Digi Release, and the Digi Bells Blog Hop
Our little team have a few goodies to share with you.

Please welcome "Best Reading Buddies"
Aren't they just adorable?

The main paper that I used is called "Itsy Bitsy Ditsy - Chocolate Bar" by Recollections.
I absolutely love this paper.  And what better way to use it than to use for such a darling digi?

I've colored these cuties with Copics (of course)
and other papers and embellishments were odds and ends that I found in my stash.

I wonder what they are reading there?  Maybe they are reading mysteries (My Favorite)
or maybe they are studying. I don't know, but they sure do look comfy, don't they?

Your next stop in our little Blog Hop will be our Spectacular Sebrina's Blog.  I just know she's created some mouth watering eye candy for you.
Some challenges that I thought I'd enter:

Elisabeth Bells Digi Release Blog Hop for March 2017

My oh my, It's that time again.....
Blog Hop Days just make me smile.
I don't know, but I look forward to them each month. =)
For this months Digi Bell's Blog HopI have created a Spring themed card... on with the hop...shall we?

Hopefully, you are joining the Digi Bells for this months Blog Hop, and should have arrived here from Sebrina's Blog.  If not, please go back to the Digi Bell's Blog, and hop along with us.

I will not even begin to tell you my struggle.  For the life of me, I could not get my mind and mojo going.  Mostly for making the card, the image had been colored up for over a week.  ....BUT.... I struggled through, and this is what I came up with.

Now it's time to head over to Helen's Blog, and make sure to leave a comment there as well. When you finish, please be sure to give us your thoughts on the "QUESTION" at the bottom of main Digi Bells Blog Hop post.

Thanks so much for joining us!

Welcome to Elisabeth Bell's Digi Release for Feb 2017

Greetings!
Oh my, I've been gone forever it seems.... A Month actually.
Toddlers DO love to take our time, don't they?
But I'm so happy to be here posting today.

If you are joining in on The Digi Bells Blog Hop
you should have arrived from Alethea's Blog.
If not, we'd love to have you join in for a chance to win this months adorable Digi.
Head over to The Digi Bells Blog and jump in and hop along.

I've had a TON of fun playing with this months Digi release.
You might recognize this sweetie as she was once a rubber stamp from
Sweet Pea Stamps.
I loved her then (and I own her in rubber) and now she has gone digital.
ABSOLUTELY AWESOME!
Elisabeth Bell's "Tummy Time" is such a super cute image, who could resist her?
Not to mention, there are so many things to do, including resizing, and flipping her.

This month our DT have created our own flowers to go along with our creations.
What do you think of that?
This just so happens to be my favorite thing to do.
Every now and then, it's nice to see what we can come up with on our own, rather than the usual
gorgeous little flowers that most people use these days.

I dug through my scrap stash, and came up with this paper combo.  I believe these papers are from Stampin' Up.  Double sided, so of course I have shown both sides here on my card.

I've colored this little cutie with Copics, and as much as I'd love to share what colors I've used.
I think my daughter made off with that list.  I had it here, and now it's just vanished.
Little Hands... LOL

Since you have come this far in the blog hop, please don't forget to leave your comment for a chance to win this cutie patootie.

Next you'll need to hop on back to The Digi Bells Blog, for your final comment.
Let us girls know what you thought.

Elisabeth Bell's World Hearts and Lace Challenge

Greetings Everyone.....
I'm going to try and keep my post short and sweet today...
It's time for me to share my creation for this months EBWorld Challenge.  Our theme is "Hearts and Lace OR Anything Goes"  Making this months challenge super easy to follow.
We'd love to have you join us this month.
All You Need is any Elisabeth Bell Stamp or Digi to play along.

I've used
"Spring Peeker" from Elisabeth Bell's Digital Collection for my card today.
She was actually a "Friday Freebie" a few weeks ago.
Isn't she gorgeous?

Do you get the weekly Freebies from Elisabeth Bell?
If not, you can start receiving them by clicking the link at the bottom of this post.

The colors used are as follows.
Copic Colors
E00, E04, E11, E93, R20,
R56, R59, R81, R85,
C01, C03, C05, C07, C09, 100

It doesn't get any easier than that, does it?

The Lattice/Scalloped hearts are from a Martha Stewart Paper Punch, and the bigger heart with the Vintage typed text is one of the fun Valentine Hearts that I sell in my Etsy shop.

It is called "Conversation Hearts"

these hearts are easy to cut out either by hand, or by using an electronic cutting machine.  The vintage worded hearts give the appearance of being "Masked"
The font used looks like an old style typewriter.
I am in love them.

I've decided to enter these challenges:

Welcome to the First Digi Bells Blog Hop of 2017

Welcome Welcome....  If you are here for the Digi Bells blog hop, that's great!
I am the first stop this time, and I can't wait to share my creation using this months "Heart Strings" from Elisabeth Bell Digital Collection.  The rest of the girls will also have some fun and tasty inspiration for you.

Lets get started....
We are making a "Treat Holder" for our projects this month....
I have decided to use a French Fry Box template, and do it up for Valentines Day.
What better way to give a treat, and let little miss **Heart Strings** stand in the spotlight?

Of course I used Copics for coloring this little doll, however, her sweater was colored with Tim Holtz distress marker using "Pumice Stone"... I am NOT at all used to, or even remotely good at distress markers, I was a nervous wreck doing it on this image, since I knew I would not have time to re-do it if I messed up... YIKES... Why do I test these things on things I NEED to use.  Thankfully, it didn't turn out too bad... However, I definitely need to practice practice practice, if I'm going to attempt using those markers again... LOL I'm STILL a die hard Copics fan.

Did I sneak a few of these little conversation hearts before packaging them for this little treat holder???  Do you think I did?  Well yes, of course I did... ha ha..  I had to taste them to make sure they didn't taste bad you know.. ha ha

Alright, your next stop is our Guest DT Helen's Blog. Before you go, don't forget to leave a comment for your chance to win little miss "Heart Strings".  You will certainly have a ton of fun coloring her.

I think I will enter these challenges:

A Sweet Christmas Blog Hop, featuring Elisabeth Bell's "Home Baked Christmas" Digi

Hello and Happy Happy Holidays!!!
Guess what?
It's Blog Hop Day Today.
Yes, we are really beginning a blog hop on a Sunday.
We thought we'd give everyone a little extra time to hop
since Christmas is only a week away.
I have been so excited for this blog hop, simply because this sweet little doll is now a Digi, and I couldn't wait to share her cuteness.
Not only that, but as I'm sure you've seen by now, you are not only getting some fun inspiration, but a yummy recipe to try too.

Also....Have you been visiting the Digi Bells Blog each day during the month of December?
Talk about some inspiration.  You won't want to miss a day....
AND ESPECIALLY each day during the last week of December on the Digi Bells Blog.

Anyway.... Shall we get on with the blog hop?
Hopefully, you have arrived here from Our darling Anet's Blog.
What did you think... She made an adorable recipe card, didn't she?

Now it's time for me to share my creation.
I absolutely LOVE - LOVE - LOVE this little doll.
I've colored her in traditional Christmas colors, using none other than my favorite.
Copics!!!

Of course you want to see the recipe, right?

Ohhhhh Look.... Elisabeth Bell's Christmas Bell.
It was this past week's Friday Freebie.
Of course I needed to include that adorable bell...

And maybe you'd like the recipe instructions?  lol

Nothing fancy here really, just some things I found in my stash.
However, I absolutely LOVE this paper.  Don't quote me, but I think it might have been part of a Christmas paper stack from DCWV.

My Poinsettia flower was cut from my favorite Cheery Lynn die.  I can't tell you how much time I spent a couple of years ago, searching for the perfect Poinsettia die.  When I found it, I HAD TO HAVE IT.  It is STILL one of my all time favorites!

Your next stop is our super sweet and talented Teamie Jennifer's Blog.
But, don't forget to leave a comment here, before you go, in order to be in the drawing to win this adorable Christmas Cutie.

A die like that would be nice though...
